“A creative life is an amplified life. It’s a bigger life, a happier life, an expanded life, and a hell of a lot more interesting life. Living in this manner—continually and stubbornly bringing forth the jewels that are hidden within you—is a fine art, in and of itself.”
― Elizabeth GilbertBig Magic: Creative Living Beyond Fear

This post. . .  well let's just say it has been very frustrating. I have been working on it for a few days now and get just so far and Safari crashes and reloads the page and I lose everything. I have contacted Apple, because this started after I updated my software. I have contacted Squarespacee, who tell me now, the problem is resolved . I beg to differ . . .

In order to save my content I must hit save over and over again, almost after every word, which then refigures the page and takes time. It is not conducive to creative flow!  So, I give up and just drink wine.

“... while we are familiar with the adverse effect of drink on an empty stomach, we are now witnessing the far worse effect of drink on an empty mind.”
― Roger Scruton, I Drink Therefore I am: A Philosopher's Guide to Wine

I googled the problem and there were lots of suggestions, which tells me I am not the only one having this issue.  There were scary suggestion like clear out this and that and get rid of your history and go deep into your computer and eat the "cookies" and then do things which I am not at all comfortable with.

Someone, on one of the help boards I found, recommended Google Crome. That seemed more reasonable. And, knock on wood, this is the furthest I have gotten without it crashing. The thing is, it is is only doing this on the Squarespace site, which tells me something is wrong with the compatibility between my Mac and their site. Basil is fed up with the whole thing! But I will not give up!

“That's the thing about people who think they hate computers. What they really hate is lousy programmers.”
― Larry Niven

The dog and I spent a few days in Richland with Gary last week. The sun was out and the fall foliage amazing. We took a drive to Walla Walla to investigate a new winery we joined, went out to dinner with friends and I did a bit of shopping. It was nice to get away. My new car now has 2,000 miles on it!

I feel rushed, and a bit stressed, but I made it without the door slamming down tight on my words and images. Google Crome is my friend. . .
