notes on living a life

winging it

“I’m a big believer in winging it. I’m a big believer that you’re never going to find perfect city travel experience or the perfect meal without a constant willingness to experience a bad one. Letting the happy accident happen is what a lot of vacation itineraries miss, I think, and I’m always trying to push people to allow those things to happen rather than stick to some rigid itinerary.”  ~ Anthony Bourdain

I am a true believer that too much planning can mess things. In my experience you are only setting yourself up for disappointment and frustration if you have a ridged agenda set in you mind. That's why I am packing light and opening myself up to the moment. Wondering what kind of concoctions I might dream up if I move forward into the sea mist with only the intention of being present and my flip flops.
