I almost walk into it, the sun is so bright.
It hangs at the perfect angle and height for me to capture.
And so, while the dog is preoccupied with the ducks on the pond, I shoot away.
A light breeze disturbs her just enough to make her move around a bit.
Curious and eager for dinner she explores, and I watch.
“Will you walk into my parlor?” Said the spider to a fly: '"Tis the prettiest little parlor That ever you did spy.”
I like to think if I were a spider I would have chosen this very spot to spin my web.
What could be better? For October sunshine, and dazzling fall colors make for the perfect lure.
