202/365
she made us lunch and pie
which we ate in their lovely cottage
we met the chicken and
and her beautiful children
we caught up and listened and connected
and laughed, and even teared up a few times
we shared concerns and dreams
and had a cocktail
before catching the ferry home
where Basil was waiting
and I was fell into bed feeling full. . . .
