monday || week 15

April 9, 2018 cathy sly

I stand at the backdoor with my latte, in the early dawn, and watch as two squirrels bounce among the wet grass.
The root of an old rhubarb plant is a massive and gnarly thing; I hope they thrive in their new bed.
They are the color of pink sherbet, and there beauty takes my breath away.
