he got up and left early to run important errands
so the dog and i took off for a long, long walk down by the lake.
it has warmed up enough so that nose hairs don't freeze and,
it feels good to be outside in the bright sunlight.
the lake has a thin layer of ice on it and the ducks
and geese were a bit confused. . . taking off but
sliding on landing. there were a couple of teenagers
throwing rocks (not at the birds) but just out on the ice,
it made the most beautiful sound. . .
